Gary Goldberg, Principal, AIA
Gary is a senior healthcare facility designer who has been responsible for numerous major hospital projects, which include Glendale (CA) Adventist Medical Center, Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center (Scottsdale, AZ ), Valley Lutheran Heart Hospital (Mesa, AZ ), and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (Los Angeles ). For over 18 years, Gary has limited his practice exclusively to the design, programming, planning, and management of hospital-based healthcare projects. During that time, he has led project teams in the planning of hospital projects for clients ranging from major urban medical centers to community and regional hospitals in suburban and rural locations.
Gary studied architecture at Carnegie-Mellon University. His early career was focused on building types such as research laboratories and recording studios, which merge technical sophistication with rigorous functional process and people spaces.
He is a licensed architect in Missouri, Arizona, and California, and is active in the Academy of Architecture for Health, a component of the American Institute of Architects.
